Get a PoA

Do you know what would happen if you became incapacitated without a financial power of attorney in place? Your family might not be able to get to the money in your bank account. Your partner wouldn’t be able to renew the mortgage. And those insurance benefits being auto-deposited to your account would just sit there while you family struggled to make ends meet. If there are financial matters that require your signature, make sure there is someone who can sign on your behalf if you’re unable to sign.
