I have always enjoyed your Till Debt do us Part series, and recently stumbled on your Princess series. And all I can say is WOW! I’m not debt free by no means, but I know where every nickel and dime is going and am constantly reviewing to improve my methods. Which is why I enjoy the tid bit and tricks that you show in your series.
Anyway I thought I would share my latest TA DA moment with you. I was at the Shoppers Drug Mart and walking past the book section when I saw your smiling face on the cover right next to a 25% off sticker and the title “It’s Your Money”. I opened the inside cover and saw a list price of $21.99. Quickly I calculated in my head $8 bucks off. Even though I knew there would be some good stuff in the book $16 bucks was more than I wanted to spend.
And then TA DA how many shoppers optimum points do I have. Off to the cashier I went with your book. An additional $10 off. Sold. $6.49 plus the almighty HST and your book was mine for $7.33 Overall savings $17.52, now that’s what I call a challenge, more for less.
With all said and done I found your book to be a “chip off the old block” an educational and entertaining read, and more tid bits for me to execute in my money plan. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and candor with me.
