Website Update Alert

JD & Indy will be doing site maintenance stuff to take care of some of the problems we’ve been having on the site. This should happen in the Monday/Tuesday timeframe, so while you may be able to see a new blog (or NOT, I dunno yet), you may not be able to comment. I appreciate your patience and support as the site moves from it’s current shared-accomodation to a place of it’s own. Wow! Now we be all growed up.

  1. Can’t wait to see the new look!! :)

  2. One suggestion, move spam stopper code to below the comment box and above the submit comment button. Makes more sense.

I like the spam stopper code, but sometimes, it is difficult to make out the characters and #s. Might be the colours.

  3. No new look Carla. We did that last year. This is all “technical” stuff. Cynthia, I’ll pass your comment on.

Better JD and Indy than me. This luddite thinks they do an awesome job. Especially picking out the pictures to match your topic. Keep up the good work!
Gail methinks your topic about change yesterday explains much about everyone’s problems with the code LOL. Cynthia’s suggestion about putting the ’submit comment’ button below the code is a good one.
    Be safe out there everyone!

  5. Catherine, I actually write, post and pick the picts for the blogs (so thanks). Indy and JD do the “technical” stuff like making sure the site doesn’t get hacked. Indy posts the questions for me and Brownie has just started posting the success stories and the poll. It’s an interesting world these days. Up until last summer, I’d never even met Indy… she dropped by to give me a hug when she and her husband were on a road trip. We did all our biz by net and phone. Face-to-face isn’t a requirement for getting a project done anymore. (I wish more business would figure this out and we could stop commuting.) And now that you can “buy” just how much of a body you need to get the job done, you can afford the best. Indy is the best. JD is easily the smartest tech guy I know. And I get to work with truly lovely people.

  6. Thanks everyone…intending for a smooth transition from one server to the next! JD is really our “go to” guy and I try to keep it looking fun & inspiring….just like Gail. She’s truly one of the most amazing beings I have ever met. She’s making such a huge positive difference in so many lives and I am blessed to be on the team. Never a dull moment and loving every second!

    Love & Gratitude to All

  7. Hi Gail,

so thrilled to see a blog on which you are so frequently ‘chatting’ to us mere mortals ;) I have been a huge fan since I discovered your ‘Til Debt Do Us Part’, show.

I would love to know what your view is regarding adult children living at home with parents and their financial input to the household? Should they be allowed to live ‘free’, or should they contribute? If so, how much do you think is reasonable?

  8. Oops – just realised I probably should have posted my previous message elsewhere – this is about the web site update – my bad. Profuse apologies.
